AEW Star Suffers Concussion At Fight For The Fallen

Britt Baker suffered a concussion during her tag team match with Riho against Shoko Nakajima and Bea Priestley on the AEW Fight for the Fallen pre-show last night.

The referee for that match, Aubrey Edwards, tweeted that she had lost an earring in a hurried attempt to get to the back, to which Baker replied that the next pair is on her, and thanked Edwards for taking care of a concussed coworker.

The cause isn’t confirmed, but it’s being suggested the concussion was suffered after this kick to the head from Priestley.

John Thorne, who is the owner of AIW – the promotion Baker trained at – confirmed the concussion on Twitter:

That tweet was in reference to a moment in the match where Baker tried to tag out to Nakajima instead of Riho.

We would like to wish Baker the very best in her recovery.
