An injured AEW star is set to return “soon.”
The injury bug is running wild throughout every promotion in the professional wrestling business with major stars from WWE, AEW, IMPACT Wrestling and more out of action.
However, some competitors are on their way back to the squared circle to fill in the void for the stars on the shelf.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), AEW star The Bunny is on her way to a return to action after suffering an injury that sidelined her for quite some time.
The former Allie sustained an orbital bone injury back in February on the AEW Championship Fight Night edition of Dynamite in a world title eliminator match with then-AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter.
The report also notes that The Bunny has been backstage at recent television tapings, but hasn’t accompanied The Butcher and The Blade to the ring.
The AEW star has also done meet and greets for Smash Wrestling as of late, where many members of the roster learned she was working her way back to the ring.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on The Bunny’s AEW return when they become available.
