AEW Star Calls Upcoming Title Match A ‘Dream’

Ahead of the Holiday Bash special, AEW star Anna Jay has called her upcoming TBS Title match against Mercedes Mone a “dream.”

On the December 4 edition of AEW Dynamite, Anna Jay defeated Penelope Ford. Post match, Jay called out Mercedes Mone to issue a challenge for the TBS Championship.

After their in-ring confrontation, the company announced that Anna will challenge Mone for the title on the December 18 Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite.

On December 9, Anna Jay took to social media to call her upcoming title bout a “dream.” She wrote:

I truly used to dream of this…
I looked up to her and admired her so much.
Now……. It’s MY time.
I’m ending this year with my first belt.. LFG.

Also announced for the Holiday Bash special, Will Ospreay will face Darby Allin in the Gold League of the AEW Continental Classic.

Announced for this Wednesday’s December 11 Winter Is Coming special of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley and PAC will face Jay White and Orange Cassidy, while Mariah May will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mina Shirakawa.
