AEW
An AEW star is currently out of action with a torn foot ligament injury during their recent tag team match on Collision.
Anthony Henry returned to AEW after he was previously let go from the company back in April, teaming with Workhorsemen tag team partner JD Drake on the May 30 episode of Collision.
The Workhorsemen took part in a losing effort to Daniel Garcia and Katsuyori Shibata, and the pair haven’t competed in a tag team match since.
Taking to Twitter today, Anthony Henry revealed that the team will be back ‘soon enough’, noting that JD Drake is currently out of action with a torn foot ligament.
He wrote:
For those wondering… the #workhorsemen will be back soon enough. Our first match back on Collision, @RealDrake, unfortunately tore a ligament in his foot. 2024 hasn’t been kind to us.
We wish JD Drake a full and complete recovery from his injury.
