New Brody King Faction Name Revealed Ahead Of Malakai Black AEW Departure? AEW

Ahead of Malakai Black’s apparent departure from the company, AEW star Brody King has filed a brand new trademark.

On the January 8 edition of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay defeated Buddy Matthews. Post match, Ospreay cut a promo saying Buddy and Brody King don’t need to be following any leader.

Following the promo, Fightful Select reported that those within AEW expected House of Black leader Malakai Black to be finishing up with the company.

To further confirm his departure, Adam Copeland gave a pep talk of stepping up on his own to Brody King on the January 11 episode of AEW Collision.

On January 15, Brody King filed a trademark for a potentially new faction name of “Hounds of Hell.” The trademark description reads:

Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestlers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes;

Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network;
Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer;

Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests;

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.

It remains to be seen how AEW or Brody King plan on using this new stable name at the time of this writing.
