Following the recent departure of Malakai Black, AEW star Brody King has filed a trademark for his new nickname.

As previously reported, Malakai Black is expected to be finishing up his run with All Elite Wrestling around February or March. Since then, the remaining House of Black members Brody King, Buddy Matthews and Julia Hart have been preparing for life after Malakai has gone.

King and Matthews, in particular, have been filing for trademarks of “Hounds of Hell” and “Hell Hounds” for a new group name for their faction.

On January 19, AEW star Brody King has filed to trademark “Cerberus” to use as a ring name or nickname. Cerberus means:

“In Greek mythology, Cerberus, often referred to as the hound of Hades, is a multi-headed dog that guards the gates of the underworld to prevent the dead from leaving”

The trademark description for “Cerberus” as filed by King reads:
