On tonight’s AEW Collision, a tag team seemingly continued to tease parting ways as one member continued to tilt towards turning heel.
To open tonight’s AEW Collision (November 2), the new AEW Tag Team Champions Private Party took the ring to celebrate.
Afterward in a backstage interview segment, Renee Paquette would catch up with The Acclaimed, Anthony Bowens and Max Caster.
While Anthony Bowens congratulated Private Party on winning the AEW Tag Team Championship, his tag team partner thought about the situation differently.
Putting Private Party on notice, Max Caster would go on to say that while Private Party may have the titles, they didn’t have the adoration of the fans.
Showing off friendship bracelets and cash, amongst the contents of Caster’s pockets, the business card from MVP for the Hurt Syndicate that was given to him a few weeks ago caught Bowens’ eye.
With Anthony Bowens asking Max Caster what he was still doing with the card, Caster would go on to attempt to explain away the awkward moment but it was clear Bowens clocked it.
You can see the entire clip from Collision below.
Interrupting to shout their catchphrase, Bowens would close the segment while Caster looked resigned, but had definitely displayed a notably more heel mood.
