AEW Star Turning Heel Update

AEW Star Turning Heel Update AEW

The latest on an AEW star potentially turning heel amid ongoing teases about joining the Hurt Syndicate on Dynamite.

Since the Hurt Syndicate arrived in AEW back in September, MVP has been handing out a number of business cards to various wrestlers on the roster, which included Max Caster and Ricochet.

Ricochet has held onto the card ever since, with many speculating that he may ultimately end up turning heel to join the group, but we got our latest development in that saga on tonight’s Dynamite show.

Ricochet came to the ring for a promo on his upcoming Continental Classic match with Will Ospreay, before he was immediately cut off by the Hurt Syndicate.

Ricochet then ran down all his recent accomplishments, including defeating Komander and Brody King in the Continental Classic, before MVP asked Ricochet if he still had the card.

When Ricochet brought the card out of his pocket, he was grabbed by Bobby Lashley, before MVP took the card from Ricochet and ripped it up in front of him, saying that ‘nobody likes a kiss ass’.

Later, Ricochet said he wasn’t going to worry about what happened with the Hurt Syndicate, and he’s onto the Continental Classic and his match with Will Ospreay.

Ricochet and Ospreay are set to face off on this week’s AEW Collision show in the Continental Classic Gold League.

The Hurt Syndicate’s Shelton Benjamin will also be in action on Collision, facing off against TNT Champion Daniel Garcia in the Continental Classic Blue League.
