An AEW star has taken to social media to share a photo of their surgery and reveal that said surgery has been a success after being injured last month.
Kris Statlander suffered a high-grade ACL tear on the June 10 episode of AEW Dynamite when she and Hikaru Shida lost out to Penelope Ford and Nyla Rose. Statlander injured her leg while diving onto Kip Sabian on the outside.
Statlander posted the following to Twitter today, indicating the surgery was successful:

We of course continue to wish Statlander a safe and healthy recovery, and look forward to seeing her back in action.
