A popular AEW star wants Kanye West track as their entrance theme.
Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2020, Ricky Starks has quickly become one of the popular stars on the roster.
On the latest episode of the “Watching The Throne” podcast, Ricky Starks discussing being a huge Kanye West fan and wanting one of his tracks for his AEW entrance theme.
Starks said:
“My goal is to get the rights to play ‘Touch The Sky’ at least once — at least once — for one of my matches. That’s the goal. I’m putting it out there. I’m manifesting this to happen. Honestly, that’s what I want.
“That’s what I want out of this whole thing. I think the day that I get that, I’m pretty much going to set Twitter on fire.”
AEW has made several investments with their entrance music with Jon Moxley coming out to “Wild Thing” and The Elite recently making their return at Full Gear to “Carry On My Wayward Sons” by Kansas.
However, trying to acquire a song by Kanye West could cause issues for AEW to obtain.
Ricky Starks defeated Brian Cage to advance in the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament at the Full Gear pay-per-view. Starks will face Ethan Page in the tournament finals on the November 23 edition of AEW Dynamite.
