A current AEW star has named multiple-time WWE World Champions The Rock and Brock Lesnar among his list of dream opponents.
Wardlow was the guest on the latest AEW Unrestricted podcast, and named the two huge names as men he wants to face at some point in his career.
He said:
“This is like asking your favorite song, your favorite movie, or favorite match. There’s not just one. I would say the top two would be Rock and the other would be Brock [Lesnar]. Aside from that, I’ve kind of already had one of my dream matches, being Cody, and I would not like to – I need to do that again. I have two losses, Hangman and Cody, and I won’t find peace until I avenge those. I would really want to wrestle Kenny Omega, as well.”
Wardlow emerged throughout 2020 as one of the brightest potential stars in AEW, and may have touted him to be a future World Champion.
He’ll be on TV again this coming Wednesday as Chris Jericho has an “ultimatum” for the Inner Circle, and Wardlow will be cornering MJF in his match against Orange Cassidy for the Dynamite Diamond ring.
