AEW Star Wants To Beat Up Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow has been one of the most interesting sports figures of the last decade. However, AEW star Lance Archer wants to beat him up.

Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Archer talked about how he respects Tebow while also wanting to kick him in the teeth. Here is the quote, courtesy of Wrestling News:

“I actually hope so. Yes, I want to beat up Tim Tebow, but I respect Tim Tebow because Tim Tebow, and we all have our faults. I’m not saying he’s any kind of perfect person or human being, but man, that dude, he really knows how to take care of himself. He really knows how to handle himself. You want to talk about an amazing human being, that’s Tim Tebow. He gets a lot of grief for his faith, and I have my faith, and I respect it.

I think anybody that truly searches who he is and what he does and what he’s done, even if you have any kind of trepidation to what you think of Tim Tebow, if you actually research Tim Tebow and find out what he has done, what he is doing, and what he will do, you can’t help but have respect for the man. I have nothing but respect for him, but I’d like to get him in the ring and kick him in the teeth.”

Tebow was a quarterback in the NFL where he gained attention for his trademarked fourth-quarter comebacks. He bounced around to several different teams before finding himself outside of the NFL.

He then tried his hand at professional baseball, playing in the New York Mets’ minor league system for parts of five seasons. Tebow has since announced his return to the NFL, signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end hoping to earn a spot on the team.

The Jaguars are, of course, owned by the Khan family which also owns AEW.
