Kyle O’Reilly has been out of action since June of last year after undergoing neck fusion surgery.
O’Reilly last wrestled on that June 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he was defeated by Jon Moxley in the AEW Interim World Championship number one contender’s match.
Adam Cole got a lot of people wondering about Kyle’s future in wrestling last night, when he posted a series of tweets to show some love to Kyle amid his ongoing absence from the ring.
Kyle responded to Cole’s praise, saying:
Thanks bro, I miss you too. My career is meaningless without you and I’m forever grateful to be your friend. Working hard to get back and fight alongside you again someday soon!
Cole himself recently returned from an extended time off due to injury, with him seemingly set for a match against Chris Jericho at Double or Nothing next month.
