An AEW star has discussed working with Shane McMahon in WWE.
In 2019, Shane McMahon went on a long heel run that featured him being aligned with several members of the WWE roster during his feud with Roman Reigns.
This included Drew McIntyre and The Revival, now known as FTR in All Elite Wrestling.
Speaking on his FTR podcast, Dax Harwood discussed his association with Shane McMahon and how it was to work with him. He said:
“From what I understand, Shane wanted this. I remember Shane was talking to Michael Hayes about it. We had a little interaction with Shane and Drew and we came to the back.”
“Shane said, ‘There’s something here, Michael’, talking about the four of us. He said, ‘There’s something here. ‘He said, ‘This could be like the Four Horsemen.’”
Shane McMahon’s rivalry with Roman Reigns culminated with Reigns and The Undertaker defeating Shane and Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules 2019.
