The Jackass series was iconic to a generation of daredevil kids and in 2021, the fourth movie in the series is scheduled to be released. This has a number of people very excited and one of those people is AEW star Darby Allin.
In a recent interview with Absolute Hustle, Allin said that he would take time off to be in the movie. He even revealed that he has talked to Jackass star Steve-O about it. Here is the quote, courtesy of Fightful:
“The one event would be Jackass 4. I’ve talked to people and I’m like, ‘If this happens, I have to have time off.’ Not only is this going to help the brand of AEW and pop culture, it’s going to help my mind. It’s a bucket list thing, for sure. I’ve talked to Steve-O about it. Everything is so crazy with COVID that they can’t even start filming. They were a week or two into filming when it got shut down and now they’ve been holding it off.”
Darby Allin and Steve-O have collaborated in the past as well. On a 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite, Steve-O introduced Allin who performed “the body bag drop-in” a stunt where Allin slid down a skateboard quarter pipe inside a body bag. It was very reminiscent of the original Jackass-related stunts.
