An AEW was the victim of a backstage attack on the latest episode of Rampage, seemingly writing them off of television.
On this past week’s AEW Dynamite, the issues between Mercedes Mone and Kamille came to a head as Mone was about to fire Kamille live on the stage.
However, before Mone could fire her, Kamille said: “”Are you stupid, or are you dumb? You can’t fire me. Because I QUIT.”
Fast forward to Rampage, and Kamille was found laid backstage with chairs around her, suggesting they had been used by whoever attacked her.
At this point, it’s unclear how long Kamille will be off TV due to the attack, but the expectation was that she was written off TV for at least the time being.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates.
