Two AEW stars have made their returns to Dynamite after over a year away amid speculation of a move to WWE.
Back in January 2025, Private Party lost the AEW World Tag Team Championship to Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of the Hurt Syndicate, which was the team’s last appearance on AEW television.
It was later reported that Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen’s contracts with AEW were set to expire ‘very soon’, with WWE having reported interest in the pair when their deals expired.
However, it seems as though Private Party will remain with AEW for a while longer, as the duo made their return to AEW Dynamite on tonight’s show, making their first appearance on television in over a year.
Quen and Kassidy were the Wildcard team in the three-way AEW World Tag Team Championship contenders match with the Rascalz and the Young Bucks.
The Young Bucks would score the win, earning the next shot at FTR’s AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Tonight’s show also saw a title change, with Kyle Fletcher defeating Tommaso Ciampa to regain the TNT Championship.
