AEW Stars Unhappy At Being Snubbed On Latest Advertising AEW

AEW Dynamite is set to make it’s debut in Winnipeg tonight (March 15), but that wasn’t the only Canada-related news the company dropped today.

AEW made a major announcement regarding their next tour in Canada, which will take place this Summer, over June and July.

The tour will consist of six events, including the second annual Forbidden Door in Toronto on June 25.

AEW shared the advertisement for the events on social media today, and it created a stir among a few AEW stars.

Current AEW World Tag Team Champion Austin Gunn reacted to the images, sharing his displeasure with he and Colten not being featured on the promotional material.

He tweeted:

not on one of these posters… SHOCKER again

This provided a response from Shawn Spears, who also wasn’t featured on the advertising despite being a Canadian.

He said:

Imagine if you were Canadian!

Shawn Spears has not appeared on AEW television since the company’s last show in Canada on October 14, where he teamed with FTR to defeat Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony.

That appearance itself came after Spears was not featured on AEW television for five months.

The Gunn Club reign as the current AEW World Tag Team Champions, most recently defending their titles in a four-way at AEW Revolution on March 5.
