In an ‘exclusive update’ on AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view, AEW Double or Nothing, QTV has released an important update.
In a clip shared on QTV’s Twitter page, Harley Cameron revealed exclusively to QTV’s followers major developments regarding the Double or Nothing Blackjack Battle Royal for the AEW International Championship.
Or did they?
In the clip, Cameron states that Powerhouse Will Hobbs will be withdrawing from the Blackjack Battle Royal at AEW Double or Nothing, and ‘out of solidarity’ QT Marshall and Aaron Solo will too.
However eagle-eyed fans might remember that when a graphic was released featuring who was set to participate in the Blackjack Battle Royal there were already 21 men listed.
None of whom were Hobbs, Marshall or Solo!
The faces listed on the match graphic shared most recently this afternoon by AEW CEO Tony Khan – and originally as far back as Thursday – are Jay White, Ricky Starks, Juice Robinson, Brian Cage, Keith Lee, Swerve Strickland, Dustin Rhodes, Penta El Zero M, Rey Fenix, Kip Sabian, Trent Beretta, Chuck Taylor, Tony Nese, Ari Daivari, Big Bill, Lee Moriarty, Komander, Bandido, The Butcher, and The Blade and of course, defending International Champion Orange Cassidy.
This would indicate either a legitimate mistake in that the original announcement was supposed to feature Hobbs, Marshall and Solo who would later be replaced by three of the other participants, or, it’s a storyline where the idea is that QTV is completely fabricating a story and none of them were ever booked to be in it to begin with.
Almost got us QTV! What a delicious headline with all of the fervor of a certain past Saturday night before Double or Nothing, but none of the real life drama.
While we may know what will go on last at AEW Double or Nothing, some clarification also came for the match order when it was revealed earlier today by AEW.
Ethan Page will be teaming with Austin and Colten Gunn to take on Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy and HOOK on the AEW Double or Nothing Buy-In, free on AEW social media ahead of the big pay-per-view affair.
The card for the AEW Double Or Nothing event on Sunday, May 28 is as follows:

TNT Championship Ladder Match – Wardlow (c) vs. Christian Cage
AEW Women’s World Championship – Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Toni Storm
