A former AEW star has teased a return to the company in a response to the Jon Moxley vs Evil Uno match on AEW Dynamite.
Scoring his 100th AEW win, Jon Moxley was able to put away Evil Uno with a rear-naked choke in a bloody match.
Moxley would refer to release the hold, leading to a brawl between Dark Order and Blackpool Combat Club.
The drama wouldn’t end there, with Hangman Page bringing his barbed wire-wrapped wrist into play, although a Buckshot Lariat attempt would be foxed by Moxley escaping the ring.
It was the refusal to release the choke that caught the attention of a former AEW star who had been following the match.
Stu Grayson would take to Twitter to comment:
“Mox not letting go of the choke is a bitch move.
“You’ll pay for that.”
A number of his followers would reply hoping that Grayson would be returning to AEW.
Grayson and AEW were unable to come to terms on a new contract with Grayson leaving the company in May 2022.
He would make a backstage appearance in October, although this was his final appearance for the company to date.
