AEW
An AEW name has announced that he will be off TV for some time, confirming that he is set to undergo surgery.
Commentator Taz has revealed that he won’t be appearing on AEW Dynamite for a while while he recovers from an upcoming procedure.
Taz has stated that he will be undergoing total shoulder replacement surgery soon.
Announcing his absence from AEW Dynamite, Taz tweeted:
I will be having total shoulder replacement surgery in a short time. Therefore I will be off AEW Dynamite for some time. See you soon.
Taz was recently inducted into the 2300 Arena Hardcore Hall of Fame, with his ceremony taking place ahead of the September 3 Dynamite taping.
While the ceremony was initially set to take place during the live broadcast, Taz revealed that he requested for the ceremony to be moved off TV, so that it wouldn’t eat up TV time and so the show’s focus could be on the wrestlers.
Footage was shared of the banner reveal for Taz’s induction into the Hardcore Hall of Fame, as can be seen here.
We wish Taz a safe and healthy recovery.
