An AEW and ROH wrestler has confirmed that his surgery was successful, after suffering a torn bicep injury in a recent match.
Anthony Henry wrestled NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd at the October 3 ROH TV taping.
Following this bout, Henry announced on social media that he tore his left bicep off the bone.
Henry has now taken to Twitter to share a photo of himself in an arm brace following surgery.
Noting that his recovery journey starts now, Henry wrote:
Surgery was successful. Now time to recovery.

Henry has been featured on both AEW and ROH TV since returning from a broken jaw injury in May.
He last wrestled on AEW TV on the September 14 Collision episode, losing to Wheeler Yuta in singles action.
Henry has been aligned with his second cousin BEEF on Ring of Honor programming.
