AEW has announced via Twitter that Nyla Rose has been suspended without pay for the rest of this year as a result of her actions on Dynamite last night.
Rose defeated Leva Bates, but then continued the attack after the match was over.
As referee Rick Knox tried to persuade Rose to stop the assault, she decided to assault him instead, by powerbombing him through a table.
She wasn’t finished there though, as, Shanna, who came out to save Bates, ate another powerbomb, landing straight on Knox.
This isn’t the first time AEW has storyline punished one of its competitors. Recently, Jimmy Havoc was fined $10,000 for using a staple gun in a Battle Royal.
So then, because he’s Jimmy Havoc, he stapled the cheque to Brandon Cutler’s head.
