AEW Tag Team To Add New Member? AEW

A big change has been teased for an existing AEW tag team following a string of losses in recent months.

In November 2024, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie formed a union known as The Vendetta, however they have not had much success.

Neither Purrazzo or Valkyrie have picked up any wins on AEW TV since their tag team debut on the December 6 edition of Rampage, with Valkyrie most recently falling short to Harley Cameron on last week’s AEW Collision (February 1).

Speaking in an AEW Digital Exclusive, Purrazzo teased a big change for the group after stating her belief that there was a “missing piece” of The Vendetta puzzle.

Purrazzo said:

“The whole world treated The Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie like we didn’t matter and that’s exactly why we made a deal that we would look out for each other, we would treat each other like family.

“Because when you mess with family, when you mess with The Vendetta, it comes at a cost. But yet, no one here in AEW has paid the prize yet and I am sick of it.”

Valkyrie would then enter the picture and ask why Purrazzo hadn’t been returning her texts and calls, to which Purrazzo responded:

“You know what? I needed time to think, ok? Clearly something here is not working. There’s a piece to this puzzle that’s missing and over the last week I think I’ve figured it out. So, why don’t we talk?”

While Purrazzo didn’t mention what or who this “missing piece” could be, however fans were quick to speculate on a number of AEW stars that could join the team.
