Tonight on AEW Dynamite, AEW held the semifinals of the tag team tournament to determine the AEW Champions. In the first match, Private Party faced off against The Lucha Brothers.
The second match showcased SCU vs. The Dark Order. Given the recent booking of both shows, the obvious choices would have been to pick SCU and The Lucha Brothers to move on.
In the case, the obvious choices were the right choices. The Lucha Brothers defeated Private Party in a really great television opener.

Meanwhile, the second match-up started off a bit slower. It took a while for this match to get going. The crowd seemed to be catching their breath.
However, the last 5 or so minutes heated up. Grayson hit a major dive over the ring post to the outside.
