New AEW Tag Team Forms AEW

AEW has confirmed the official formation of a new tag-team, ahead of this weekend’s WrestleDream events.

Ahead of WrestleDream on October 18, An AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl pre-show event will take place.

With Eddie Kingston and HOOK confirmed for AEW Tailgate Brawl, the company has now provided an official update on both stars’ futures.

As confirmed on the AEW Twitter account, Eddie Kingston and HOOK have formed an official tag-team.

Noting that the duo are officially entering the tag-team division, AEW posted:

Eddie Kingston + @730HOOK Will Be At Tailgate Brawl!

Eddie and HOOK are officially entering the tag team division and will be in action THIS SATURDAY, 10/18!

Eddie Kingston has wrestled four matches since returning from in September, after 16 months away.

He and HOOK notably teamed up on the September 27 Collision episode, defeating Big Bill and Bryan Keith in a Tornado tag-team match.

Kingston last wrestled on the October 8 Collision episode, defeating The Beast Mortos in singles action.
