AEW Tag Team Name Change Confirmed

AEW Tag Team Name Change Confirmed AEW

A name change to a newly formed AEW tag team has now been confirmed, just days after their original team name was revealed.

With a common rival in the form of LFI, Hologram and Komander have recently formed a union on AEW programming.

Having teamed previously at the AEW Revolution 2025 Zero Hour, their alliance was officially given a name ahead of an announced match against LFI at this week’s AEW Collision Slam Dunk Sunday.

In the original announcement Hologram and Komander were christened the Lucha Stars, however, this name would receive some backlash from fans.

Now, on March 18, AEW have once again advertised the upcoming AEW Collision match, only now with Hologram and Komander’s team name of the Lucha Stars changed to Los Titanes del Aire.

The announcement reads:

#AEWCollision SLAM DUNK SUNDAY

Immediately following the NCAA Tournament Coast to Coast on @TNTDrama +@SportsOnMax

Los Titanes del Aire vs. LFI Los Titanes del Aire, the team of @AEWHologram + #ROH TV Champ @komandercrmx, will battle LFI’s @dralistico_lfi + @beastmortos!

See it LIVE this Wednesday 3/19 in Omaha!

The English translation of Los Titanes del Aire is The Titans of the Air, with this now seemingly going to be the pair’s new name now going forward providing no further changes are made.

We will provide further updates on this name change and the reasoning behind it if more information becomes available.
