An AEW tag team officially broke up after months of speculation on tonight’s Maximum Carnage episode of Collision.
There has been a lot of tension between the Acclaimed on AEW television in recent months, with Max Caster becoming more selfish on the microphone and in the ring, to the dismay of Anthony Bowens.
After weeks of tension, Caster called out Bowens on tonight’s episode of Collision, where he wanted to hash out the differences between the two.
Caster said that the issue came due to Bowens not acknowledging Caster as the Best Wrestler Alive, before Bowens called out Caster as an ‘arrogant, cocky, selfish edgelord piece of shit’.
Billy Gunn then made his return, looking to settle the issues between the two men, before Caster ran him down, saying that every team he’s been a part of has broken up, including his own sons turning on him.
Caster gave an ultimatum to Bowens, making him choose between himself and ‘Daddy Ass’.
Caster then attempted to scissor Bowens, but Bowens gave him a middle finger, siding with Billy Gunn over him.
Caster then declared that the Acclaimed was officially over, since he was the leader, before leaving as Bowens and Gunn scissored.
Is this the END of The Acclaimed??
