AEW Tag Team Potentially Splitting Update

AEW Tag Team Potentially Splitting Update AEW

An AEW star has shared an update on the future of his current tag team following a major loss at Full Gear 2025.

In one of three title changes at Full Gear, AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido’s 90 day run with the gold came to an end courtesy of FTR, with Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler managing to put a valiant Bandido away for the three count after 20 minutes of back-and-forth action.

While FTR’s future is bright heading into 2026 as they claim their record-tying third AEW Tag Team Championship reign, fans of Brodido were left wondering whether Brody King and Bandido would be continuing as a tag team after their loss at Full Gear, or going their separate ways and resuming their singles careers.

Despite there not being any teases of a Brodido split, Brody King has taken to Twitter to quell any fears that could be happening.

heaping praise on his tag team partner, King wrote:

@bandidowrestler is the best wrestler in the world.

Brodido is not going anywhere. Time to rebuild.

Brodido first teamed together in AEW on the May 14 episode of Collision, and just three month later they won the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Forbidden Door 2025, defeating FTR and The Hurt Syndicate in a three-way.

While the AEW Tag Titles are no longer in Brodido’s possession, Bandido remains the ROH World Champion, a title he has held since AEW Dynasty 2025 in April.
