On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, a match was made for next week that could lead to the split of a long-time tag team.
The main event of tonight’s October 23 Dynamite was a trios match featuring Daniel Garcia & Private Party against The Elite’s Young Bucks & Jack Perry.
Last week, Garcia and Private Party called out The Elite for being passive about Jon Moxley taking over ‘their’ company, leading to tonight’s match.
Private Party and Garcia scored the win with a quick roll-up, and afterwards, Isiah Kassidy took the opportunity to call out the Young Bucks for a tag team title rematch from WrestleDream.
It appeared as though Marq Quen had no idea Kassidy intended on making the challenge, nor did he know about the additional stipulation Kassidy added to persuade the Bucks to accept.
That stipulation is that if Private Party lose next week, they have to split up – so come next week, Private Party will either become AEW World Tag Team Champions, or they’ll no longer be a team.
The match was soon made official for next week’s ‘Fright Night’ special edition of Dynamite on the eve of Halloween.
