AEW Stars File To Trademark New Tag Team Name AEW

Two AEW stars have filed for a new trademark with the United States Patent & Trademark Office related to the new name for their tag-team.

With Lio Rush and Action Andretti establishing themselves as a tag team in recent month, it was revealed in late-February that this duo will be known as ‘CRU’, standing for ‘Crazy, Ruthless, Unhinged’.

The duo have now filed an application to trademark the name ‘CRU’. Per the filing, the duo intend for this trademark to cover use under the catagories. of ‘entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests.’

The following description accompanied the filing:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer;

Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer;

Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes

CRU last wrestled together on the January 4 Collision episode, unsuccessfully challenging for Private Party’s AEW Tag Team Championship.
