As per Fightful Select (subscription required), many individuals in the AEW locker room are of the personal belief that Bryan will arrive in AEW tonight. It was specified that talent haven’t been outright told that the former WWE Champion will debut during the pay-per-view.
Fightful confirmed the original Bodyslam.net report, stating that they also were told that the working plan for Bryan’s AEW debut was to have him appear during All Out.
Bryan hasn’t made a wrestling appearance since his Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns in April. Shortly after the bout, his WWE contract expired.
One reason why Bryan reportedly opted to join AEW was because he’d also be able to work with NJPW down the line. After WrestleMania 37, Bryan expressed a desire to wrestle outside of WWE.
