Due to the coronavirus pandemic, AEW has had to move its taping out of Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida to an undisclosed location.
This was reported by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, who noted that AEW wants the location to remain private so fans don’t start turning up there looking for autographs and such things.
The promotion is believed to be taping matches throughout Tuesday and Wednesday for this week’s shows as well as for future weeks. There are already matches in the can that were taped at Daily’s Place previously, such as a World Title bout between Jon Moxley and Jake Hager.
It is thought that the undisclosed location is in the Southeast, where the promotion is doing a ‘significant amount’ of taping today.
The reason AEW has been moved out of Daily’s Place is because the Jacksonville authorities are using the car park there as a major coronavirus testing centre.
Tonight’s AEW Dark will of course feature matches that were taped at Daily’s Place in previous weeks, one of which includes World Champion Jon Moxley.
