AEW’s Taz Undergoes Stem Cell Treatment For First Time AEW

AEW’s Taz has revealed that he’s undergoing stem cell and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment for his knee.

On Twitter, the wrestling veteran shared a photo of him icing his knee.

Noting that the first treatment session is behind him, Taz tweeted:

“First Stem Cell & PRP treatment on this banged up knee….I’m feeling good about how the end result will be!”

Taz made his wrestling debut in 1987, and went on to hold the ECW World, TV and Tag Team gold, as well as the WWE Hardcore and Tag Team Titles, before transitioning into a commentary role in 2002.

The Human Suplex Machine is currently signed to AEW, where he acts as a commentator, as well as a manager to Team Taz.

Team Taz’ Ricky Starks recently threw shade on Tetsuya Naito, ahead of the Forbidden Door event.

Taz’ son, Hook, is currently undefeated in AEW, most recently forcing Anthony Henry to submit on the April 20 edition of AEW Dynamite.
