AEW seemed to plant the seeds for a very exciting clash on tonight’s (January 21) live episode of AEW Rampage.
The show saw Jon Moxley pick up a victory in his first match back, defeating Ethan Page by submission, before dropping him with Paradigm Shift and leaving through the crowd.
Moxley was greeted at the exit by Bryan Danielson, who made his first appearance on AEW television since he was defeated by Adam Page on January 5.
The match between Danielson and Moxley was originally planned to take place at AEW Full Gear as the final of the AEW World Championship Eliminator tournament, before Moxley was pulled and replaced with Miro.
What is going on here! It seems as though #TheAmericanDragon has some unresolved business with @jonmoxley?!
