Thunder Rosa Thinks Everybody Would Benefit From Paige Joining AEW

AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa thinks that Paige joining AEW would do nothing but good for the promotion.

Paige will become a free-agent in July after her WWE contract expires. The star teased an in-ring return announcing her upcoming departure.

Speaking with TV Insider, Thunder Rosa pointed out that Paige has been wrestling most of her life, so has a lot of experience between the ropes.

Prepared to take on all comers, Rosa said:

“She has so much experience. She has been wrestling since a young girl. I met her mother a few years ago at an independent show. She is a wrestler’s wrestler. She would bring something different to the women’s division as a wrestler or even if we needed a general manager.

“If she came to our door, I think everybody will benefit from it. If anyone comes to wrestle me. I’m open to any challenge. Whoever wants a piece of me, you know where to find me. If not, I’ll send you my number right now.”

Paige is slated to appear at next month’s Starrcast V event as well as a World Association of Wrestling show in October.

Rosa has been AEW World Champion for over 100 days, winning the gold from Britt Baker at Dynamite: St Patrick’s Day Slam in March.

She will next defend her gold against Toni Storm at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. You can check out the updated card for the event right here.
