AEW Star Attacked At Movie Premiere AEW

The issues between Toni Storm and Mariah May spilt out from the AEW ring to the Queen of the Ring movie premiere.

The movie, which is a biopic of the life of Mildred Burke, and sees Toni Storm take on the role of Clara Mortensen.

At the recent red carpet premiere for the movie, Storm commented on the importance of the story, saying:

“A movie about women’s wrestling, it means so much because, it really… it’s the beginning of it all…”

Before she could continue, Storm was attacked by Mariah May who blindsided the Timeless one, declaring it was The Glamor that made her a star.

With Storm incensed, the AEW Women’s World Champion would say that May had ruined her moment, before demanding to know where “that b**ch” was.

Renee Paquette can be seen looking concerned, as Storm calls the incident “terribly embarrassing”.

Queen of the Ring arrives in US theatres on Friday, March 7, 2025.

Two days later, on March 9, Storm defends her title against Mariah May in a Falls Count Anywhere match at AEW Revolution.
