AEW
A current AEW tag team has been described as a ‘breath of fresh air’ by one of the stars involved in the partnership.
Orange Cassidy and Toni Storm have found common ground, with fancy footwork playing a part in their coming together as a team over recent weeks.
Ahead of the mixed tornado tag team match at AEW Grand Slam Australia, Orange Cassidy shared his thoughts on his relationship with Toni Storm.
Speaking to Compas On The Beat, Cassidy described the partnership as a ‘breath of fresh air’, saying:
“It feels like why have we not been teaming before? What’s taken us so long to do this. It’s a breath of fresh air.”
Storm would chip up, noting that they are just having fun together, stating:
“Oh, stop it, you are a darling, and we have oh so much fun.”
Cassidy would comment on his involvement in the team, noting the caliber of Storm, explaining:
“And I let her do most of the work because she’s better than me, so it works out for me.”
Storm would have the final word, describing Cassidy as a ‘charisma overload’ as she declared:
“He’s so handsome, and he doesn’t have to do anything, and everybody just loves him, he just turns up, and he’s charisma overload just by standing there.”
