AEW Star To Compete In Another Promotion’s Tournament

An AEW star has been announced for an upcoming tournament for World Wonder Ring STARDOM, ahead of their debut for the company.

While AEW star Konosuke Takeshita is currently competing in the NJPW G1 Climax tournament, another AEW star has been announced for an upcoming tournament in Japan.

Ahead of STARDOM’s 5STAR Grand Prix tournament commencing on August 10, Anna Jay has been announced for the competition.

Jay will compete in the Blue Star’s A Block. Starlight Kid, Saori Anou, Syuri, Xena and Koguma have also been announced for this block, with one more name TBD.

The current lineup for the tournament is as follows:

Blue Block A: Saori Anou, Syuri, Starlight Kid, Xena, Koguma, Anna Jay & TBA

Blue Block B: Suzu Suzuki, Saya Kamitani, Hanan, Ranna Yagami, Saki Kashima, Thekla & Risa Sera

Red Block A: Maika, Hazuki, Natsuko Tora, Konami, Manami, Natsupoi & Yuna Mizumori

Red Block B: Mayu Iwatani, Tam Nakano, Momo Watanabe, AZM, Mei Seira, Saya Iida & Tomoka Inaba

In the tournament, wrestlers will face other wrestlers in their block in a round-robin format.

The four block winners will then face off in semi-finals matches, leading to the tournament finals.
