AEW has filed for a new Owen Hart related trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Per the USPTO, AEW filed an application on Tuesday (October 1) to trademark the term “KING OF HARTS”.
Per the report, this new application is intended to cover use surrounding categories of “action figures”.

AEW has paid tribute to Owen Hart in numerous ways since September 2021, when it was announced that the promotion would hold an annual Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
AEW previously filed an application to trademark King of Harts in July 2021 with the following description:
Trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of educational and entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about wrestling accessible by radio, television, satellite, audio, video and computer networks; Entertainment services in the nature of development, creation, production, distribution, and post-production of wrestling programs and wrestling multimedia entertainment event content;

The most recent AEW Owen Hart Foundation tournaments concluded in July, with Mariah May winning the women’s bracket and Bryan Danielson winning the men’s tournament.
