
AEW have filed a new trademark application for what could be a future show or event taking place in the summer season.
The application was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on April 14, 2025.
According to the application under Serial Number 99135212, the application refers to the term “AEW SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER”
The USPTO listing for Goods and Services describes the application as:
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events.
At the time of writing, there is no information as to when or where AEW Summer Blockbuster would be used.
A recent trademark application for AEW Spring Breakthru later saw a report that the name would be used on the April 16, 2025 episode of Dynamite.
Elsewhere, it was recently reported that AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door would be returning on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in London, England.
AEW Dynamite and Collision will also be debuting in Glasgow, Scotland, in the run-up to Forbidden Door.
