AEW has filed an application to trademark a new tag team name, per the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
On March 18, AEW filed to trademark the term ‘Titanes Del Aire’. This is the new team name for Hologram and Komander, who were originally set to be called The Lucha Stars.
This tag-team name change was confirmed with recent AEW advertising.
The trademark is intended to be used to cover categories including “conducting entertainment exhibitions in the nature of professional wresting exhibits and performances by professional wrestlers.”
The following description accompanied the filing:
Conducting entertainment exhibitions in the nature of professional wresting exhibits and performances by professional wrestlers, namely, performances by a tag team of wrestlers during professional wrestling events; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances
Hologram and Komander notably teamed together during the AEW Revolution Zero Hour pre-show, defeating Blake Christian & Lee Johnson in tag-team action.
The duo teamed with each other numerous times outside of AEW – mainly in AEW – when Hologram was wrestling as Aramis.
An update has emerged on plans for Wednesday’s (March 19) AEW Dynamite episode, following severe weather in Omaha.
