New names for AEW brands have potentially been revealed, following applications trademark three new terms with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
AEW has now filed to trademark three terms, ‘Maximum Carnage’, ‘Maximum Mayhem’ and ‘Maximum Combat’.
The following description accompanied the filing:
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances;
Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services in the nature of a television series in the field of professional wrestling;
Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling
While it’s currently unclear what AEW plans to use these terms for, it has been speculated that they could be new match types or show names.
AEW’s next special will be the December 11 Dynamite Winter is Coming show, ahead of the Worlds End pay-per-view on December 28.
