AEW TV Yearly Tradition Change Confirmed AEW

Two new AEW specials have been officially confirmed the Christmas period, including one on Christmas Day itself.

Recently, AEW filed trademark applications for the terms ‘Dynamite on 34th Street’ and ‘Christmas Collision’.

At the time, there were no further details as to how these two terms would be used, but AEW have officially confirmed their plans.

As can be seen below this news story, AEW have officially announced the shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

AEW Christmas Collision is set to air on Saturday, December 21, 2024, while AEW Dynamite on 34th Street will air on Christmas Day itself, Wednesday, December 25.

The official site page for the New York shows has revealed when fans can attend both Collision and Dynamite during Christmas week.

The listing reveals that the AEW Christmas Collision will take place on December 21 with Dynamite being taped on December 22, and states:

“THIS DECEMBER! All Elite Wrestling brings you an epic double feature for the holidays!

“Saturday, December 21st see AEW Collision and Sunday, December 22nd catch AEW Dynamite live from the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City!”

The Hammerstein Ballroom may be familiar to wrestling fans as a venue used by ECW which ran the One Night Stand, among other events, there.

Fans of the festive season will also recognise that Dynamite on 34th Street is a play on the movie title Christmas on 34th Street.

At the time of writing, no matches have been confirmed for either show, though WrestleTalk will provide updates as they emerge.
