‘Unfortunate Notable Omissions’ Expected For AEW Console Game Roster, More Updates

‘Unfortunate Notable Omissions’ Expected For AEW Console Game Roster, More Updates AEW

An update on the AEW video game, Fight Forever, has been revealed.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega having time off during the home stretch of the video game being produced has been considered a “happy accident”.

Omega has gone “above and beyond” and stretched far to make sure he can help with the game. He was also a huge part of landing Hideyuki “Geta” Iwashita, who was the director of WWF No Mercy.

The push to get Geta is considered a smart one and his contributions have been very valuable.

The report also notes that AEW music producer Mikey Rukus has put in a ton of work for the game.

Sources say that the roster size for the game sits around 50 and there will be unfortunate notable omissions in the first release of the game. We have a full list of names confirmed for the game at this link.

There’s still a lot of work to be done in polishing the game up, especially with character models.

We will have further updates on the AEW video game when they become available.
