The reported value of AEW’s new multi-platform deal with Warner Bros Discovery, incorporating TV, streaming and pay-per-view events, has been revealed.
Following months of speculation, AEW’s new deal with Warner Bros Discovery was officially announced via Variety on Wednesday (October 2) ahead of Dynamite.
The announcement revealed that Dynamite and Collision will air on TBS and TNT respectively, but AEW programming will stream live on Max simultaneously for US subscribers, and will be available to stream on-demand starting in January 2025.
Pay-per-views will also be streaming on Max later in 2025, but with a discounted price per event.
With TV, streaming and pay-per-views announced, there has been some speculation about the valuation of this new deal.
Per Joe Otterton of Variety, financial terms of this new deal weren’t disclosed, but sources have told them that the deal is valued at “upwards of $150 million per year” when all elements are taken into account.
