Will Ospreay Admits To ‘Inventing’ New Move By ‘Accident’ On AEW Dynamite AEW

The June 12 episode of AEW Dynamite saw Will Ospreay take on Rey Fenix and ‘invent a new move’ in the process.

Highlights from the match for the AEW International Championship can be seen below this news story, including what happened when Swerve Strickland came face to face with Ospreay.

Ospreay revealed his thought process in response to a tweet suggesting that a Spanish Fly attempt had been a “possible botch” on Twitter.

Reposting the video of the move in question, Ospreay opened up about his quick thinking, saying:

“Mate the moment I realised the Spanish was blocked I just decided in the instant to pick him up and my brain genuinely said:

“‘Don’t do an Air Raid Crash that’s s**t’

“Just invented a move by accident 😂😂”

For those not familiar with the ‘air raid crash’, an avalanche variant by Britt Baker can be seen below this news story.

Ospreay heads to AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30 to face Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship.
