AEW International Champion Will Ospreay has released a new documentary surrounding his final matches in RevPro and NJPW before joining AEW.
Will Ospreay was announced as the newest member of the AEW roster at last year’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event, where it he revealed he had signed a contract with the company.
However, Ospreay did not start with the company until March of this year, finishing up his remaining contract with NJPW and dates in RevPro.
Ospreay competed in his final match in NJPW back on February 11, where he teamed with United Empire stablemates Jeff Cobb, HENARE, Francisco Akira & TJP in a Cage Wars match against Bullet Club War Dogs’ David Finlay, Alex Coughlin, Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney & Gabe Kidd.
The following week on February 18, Ospreay competed in his final independent match, where he lost to Michael Oku at the RevPro High Stakes event.
Today, Ospreay released a documentary he made alongside Mark Ashley Films called ‘Closing My Chapter’, detailing his final matches in both RevPro and NJPW.
I had this documentary filmed of my last matches in New Japan & Revolution Pro.
To really show how much both companies really played a huge part in me maturing into a man.
Beyond grateful for everything that they both gave me & I miss them so much.
Big thank you to @markashleyfilms for capturing and editing this, hope you all enjoy
