Following NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed, AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita set for a winner takes all championship match.
At NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed, Konosuke Takeshita defeated TJP to retain the AEW International Championship.
After the match, Takeshita challenged anyone from the locker room to accept a title match against the AEW star.
Out came NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi to accept the challenge and issue one of his own for a winner takes all bout for both men’s titles on January 4 at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom.
On November 11, New Japan Pro Wrestling officially announced Konosuke Takeshita vs. Shingo Takagi for both the AEW International Championship and NEVER Openweight Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19.
NJPW posted the graphic for the winner takes all championship match. The caption reads:

If Takeshita is AEW International Champion by January 4, this match will be title for title!
After Shingo’s challenge, Tomohiro Ishii came out to indicate that he wants the winner of Takeshita vs. Shingo to face him on January 5 at the co-promotional event, Wrestle Dynasty.
It remains to be seen if that match will be made official for Wrestle Dynasty at the time of this writing.
