All Elite Wrestling’s Brandi Rhodes announced that a Casino Battle Royale will take place at All Out. The winner of the match will be in line to become the first ever AEW Women’s Champion.
Brandi was quick to note that due to AEW not having 21 women under contract, fans can expect some surprises.
It can be assumed that any woman not already involved in a match at All Out will be in the Casino Battle Royale. In addition to those women, Teal Piper, Ivelisse and Jazz were revealed as entrants.
Piper is the daughter of Roddy Piper. She gave an interview where she discussed how her father’s career affected her growing up. She also talked about how wrestling is keeping him close to her now after his passing.
Ivelisse is best known for her work on Lucha Underground where she was a Trio Tag Team Champion alongside Son of Havoc and Angelico. However, she has also worked for TNA Wrestling, SHINE, and AAA. She also had a brief run on NXT where she wrestled as Sofia Cortez.
Jazz is of course best known for her runs in WWE and ECW during the 90’s and early 2000’s. She is a former WWE Women’s Champion and more recently held the NWA Women’s Championship.
